Asset tagging, scanning, synchronization and data correlation services by teams of bonded individuals who work along with your facilities staff.

Following the Planning Phase, the information that has been identified that is necessary or useful is collected for all the assets of the types identified in the Planning Phase. This phase can be conducted using a variety of technologies, such as barcodes and RFID tags applied to each asset and location. The identification labels are scanned (most commonly using a handheld or tablet PC scanner device) and then synchronized with a database, which will be used to track the assets during their lifecycle of use. All the available information is entered into the database during this phase.

A physical asset inventory can be an extremely difficult project to complete using internal resources. Many organizations encounter difficulties motivating, training and supervising personnel, keeping data accurate, completing the project on time and on budget, and most of all, knowing what to do with asset information once it has been collected.

Even so, E-ISG can train your team to use the data collection software and to do the barcoding and data gathering, or can quickly and economically put together teams of bonded workers who have been trained in the process. We have an agreement with a large staffing service that has nationwide presence and can form teams in most large cities. Our teams are trained and experienced in all aspects of performing a physical inventory using bar coded and non-bar coded technology. We use tested procedures for room entry and assessment, systematic searching to avoid missing assets or miscoding assets, and other tools and methods to collect accurate asset details.
