This final phase is actually a continuing process. E-ISG uses a specialized database for tracking and managing assets called Visual Asset Manager™, or VAM. This “visually oriented” database presents a graphical representation of the Enterprise, with floor plans and geographic representations. Users are able to identify the location of each asset, and to track asset movement and changes. Detailed information on each asset that is collected during the Data Entry Phase and the Appraisal Phase, if included, is available in VAM.

As assets are moved, or their status becomes changed, their identifying tag is scanned and synchronized with the VAM database. If desired, assets such as laptop PC’s can be “checked out” and “checked in”, and assigned or reassigned to different employees and/or locations. As assets are “turned-in”, they can be identified as in reserve status for reassignment or retirement/disposal. Full awareness of the complete set of assets results in cost savings, cost avoidance, and more efficient use of assets, in addition to knowing where any particular asset is located, and to whom it is assigned. Some of our clients even use VAM to find lost or misplaced assets.

Track and Manage All Company Property

Your Process Continuation Care continues after the inventory is taken. This is where asset information, such as the addition of new assets or changes in the status of existing assets, can be reliably "caught" and recorded. EISG's implementation training involves identifying your organization's Catch Points, and teaching your purchasing and receiving departments how to bring new assets into your organization, track relevant information and distribute it to end users. This process begins with the installation of Visual Asset Manager, but continues with expert advice and on-site training that includes:

• Inputting new assets, and asset distribution
• Bar coding, procedures and methods
• Entering Moves, Adds and Changes (MACs)
• Tracking maintenance, warranties, leases and other asset information
• Document scanning and retrieval
• Digital image capture and insertion
• Creating and using reports
