E-Innovative Services Group, LLC (E-ISG) in Baltimore, Maryland acquires Visual Asset Manager from Asure Software

Committment to move the product forward with upgrades and continued releases.

BALTIMORE, MD, Feb. 16, 2009 — In a move that will consolidate, simplify and enhance a single product offering under one development and support group, E-ISG announced today, that it has acquired Visual Asset Manager (VAM) from Asure Software in Austin Tx. Details of the transaction were not disclosed.

VAM is the premier software and hardware tool for the tracking and management of assets owned or leased by an organization. VAM fits the needs of Private Enterprise, Government, Education, Defense and Homeland Security. Electronics, Office Furnishings, Vehicle Fleets and most other assets can be tracked and managed with the product.

While the two companies have worked closely together for several years as partners to provide a complete asset management solution, E-ISG has now assumed responsibility for the product, its customers and associated services.

“The Visual Asset Manager product acquisition positions us to become a leader in the asset management systems market and is a key milestone in achieving our strategic goal of implementing highly functional and affordable asset management systems and process", said Eric Beser, Managing Partner of E-ISG. "The acquisition enables us to provide customers with a single destination for all of their asset management needs."

Founded in 2003, E-ISG’s purpose was, and remains, to serve those organizations that need an easy way to identify and manage their assets, ranging from office furniture to IT assets. After a comprehensive review of asset management systems, E-ISG decided to work exclusively withVAM and developed software that enabled easy data collection with a handheld barcode scanner that integrated productively with VAM. E-ISG worked closely with the development team at Asure Software, and the first version of VAM Enterprise was the result.

“We are excited about E-ISG’s purchase of Visual Asset Manager for a number of reasons,” said Richard Snyder, Chief Executive Officer at Asure Software. “We have partnered with E-ISG for several years, and they are experts in asset management. We believe E-ISG is well-equipped to continue solid support of our current customers and to continue development of the product in ways that will be well-received by the market. This transaction will enable Asure to focus on its flagship product, Meeting Room Manager, and will enable Visual Asset Manager to thrive in the hands of experts in the asset management industry.”

The next major release of VAM Enterprise, Version 6.0, is due for release soon and E-ISG will continue its development and release schedule. It will include significant functional enhancements over the latest fielded version, Version 5.7.5. VAM will not just continue to be supported, it will continue to be improved, taking the best lessons learned from a wide variety of VAM implementations in a diverse set of industries and organizations.

E-ISG prides itself on being an expert in the Strategic Asset Management field, so this acquisition is a natural evolution and fits the strategic goals E-ISG. Most importantly, E-ISG’s focus on Strategic Asset Management will drive a better product for both existing and new customers.
