E-ISG Training Overview
E-ISG conducts comprehensive training programs for all clients, both new and experienced. Tailored, onsite or online training courses are offered for one-on-one or group settings.
We’re committed to helping you experience the benefits of real-time, Web-based Asset Management, so we offer two training courses for Visual Asset Manager: one for users and one for system administrators.
Each session is available via Web and audio conference from a E-ISG training representative and any number of participants may attend. Each session provides up to four hours of training time to cover the agenda and allow for a question and answer period.
Training
We also offer a range of remote training packages designed to give users the confidence and knowledge to effectively use Visual Asset Manager, including specific tracks for system administrators, IT professionals, and facilities managers.
End User Training
This session is designed for those who will be using the application regularly to meet asset management needs. Our trainer will explain the application interface, the inventory process, and some of the built-in features that help with the day-to-day use of the software. These include instruction on how to use built-in filters and search forms, as well as how to produce detailed reports on asset data. (Up to 2 hours.)

VAM Professional Administrator Training
This session is designed for VAM Professional system administrators who will be deploying and administering the application within the organization. Our trainer will provide an overview of the application from the “user” perspective and will also explain all administrative options available. (Up to 2 hours.)

VAM Enterprise Administrator Training
This session is designed for VAM Enterprise system administrators who will be deploying and administering the application within the organization. Our trainer will give an overview of the application from the “admin user” perspective and will explain all available administrative options including remote data gathering, synchronization, and publishing. (Up to 2 hours.)

Getting Started With Asset Management — IT Track
This session is designed for IT Asset Managers and shows how to optimize VAM using ITIL methodology. Our process mentors are certified from National Property Management Association as property managers. The process mentors at E-ISG lead this training session, which is intended for customers who purchase the Mobile Computer Barcode Scanning Module. Training includes:
- Inspection of the VAM installation
- Testing the synchronization of Asset Manager Workbench software
- Admin training to cover use and configuration of scanner, plus publishing scanner data to VAM
- End user training to cover day-to-day use of scanner
- Providing an inventory plan template and instruction to the inventory team, and phone support during the inventory effort
- Master templates for ITIL V3 data collection, as well as IT categories and subcategories
Getting Started With Asset Management — Facilities Track
This session is designed for Facilities Managers and shows you how to optimize Visual Asset Manager when conducting your inventory. Our certified process mentors at E-ISG lead the training, intended for customers who purchase the Mobile Computer Barcode Scanning Module. Training includes:
- Inspection of the VAM installation.
- Testing the synchronization of Asset Manager Workbench software
- Admin training to cover use and configuration of scanner, plus publishing of scanner data to VAM
- End user training to cover day-to-day use of scanner
- Providing an inventory plan template and instruction to the inventory team, and phone support during the inventory effort
- Master templates for customizing the categories and subcategories forms
