Overview

Built using industry standard tools such as Microsoft’s SQL and SharePoint servers, E-ISG has incorporated business intelligence that synthesizes divergent data from multiple systems into a user-friendly display framework. Reporting logic highlights an asset’s key performance indicators (KPIs) according to industry standards and allows end users to understand and evaluate the effectiveness of their business processes.

And all of the required software and logic is delivered via a VMWare virtual server, eliminating costly configuration and integration. Typical installation time is 20 minutes from start to finish. There’s no faster way to deploy an asset management solution with this level of functionality.

Turn-Key Integration of Business and Physical Asset Data

Basic asset tracking and reporting functionality is provided by NetSimplicity’s Visual Asset Manager, which also enables connectivity to a wide variety of RFID devices from RFCode, GeoTab, and Antx.

But what really sets SAMA apart is the ability to easily integrate information from leading business applications software including SAP, PeopleSoft, GreatPlains Accounting, and even data from homegrown data bases. All of this is accomplished using SAMA’s web based management tools. And since SAMA uses a federated database architecture, each external application retains ownership and control of its data.

 

Real-Time Reporting Completes the Picture

Of course getting all of the data associated with an asset into the SAMA framework is only half of the story. The real payoff comes when the combination can deliver cost savings. Once again, SAMA delivers.
Using built-in business logic, SAMA allows the user to define Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and associated reports that track progress toward corporate goals. And using the built in SharePoint Server, SAMA can put customized, real time reports right on the Outlook desktop of the user.
