Tracking- The asset management process

At this phase, E-ISG proudly introduces our specialized database for tracking and managing assets called Visual Asset Manager™, or VAM.

This “visually oriented” database presents a graphical account of your business, complete with floor plans and geographic representations. Identify the location of each asset, and track asset movement and changes. Detailed information collected during the Data Entry Phase and the Appraisal Phase, if included, can now be accessed readily with VAM.

Full awareness of the complete set of assets results in cost savings, cost avoidance, and more efficient use of assets, in addition to knowing where any particular asset is located, and to whom it is assigned.

As assets are moved, or their status changes, their identifying tag scans and synchronizes with the VAM database. If desired, assets such as laptop PC’s can be “checked out” or “checked in”, and assigned or reassigned to different employees and/or locations. As assets are “turned-in”, they can be identified as in reserve status for reassignment or retirement/disposal. VAM can even locate lost or misplaced assets.
