The participant will learn how to use the Publishing Map Editor, will learn how the SQL database stores publishing information, and will learn how to troubleshoot common errors that occur because of data errors in the inventory process

This webinar will be taught by Eric Beser, who developed the barcode scanner software and publishing map. There will be time for questions and answers.

Implementing an ITILV3 CMDB in Visual Asset Manager

ITIL Service Management Processes fits into the foundation for quality IT Service Managment. The structure of Version 3 has evolved into a life cycle management. ITIL has become a service, and as such is effectively modeled into Visual Asset Manager (VAM).

Using Visual Asset Manager's form design capability, E-ISG process mentors have implemented the basic data structures of the CMDB simply and directly.

This 1 hour webinar shows what was done, from Metadata management to effective reporting to implement this CMDB structure using features from VAM, and SQL Reporting Service. This seminar is given by Eric Beser, Managing Partner of E-ISG who has over 25 years of IT service experience combined with a knowledge of logistics

Attendants will come away with the basic CMDB implementation and a good working knowledge of how services can be effectively modeled and delivered.
