How to Prepare for Government Property Management System Self-Assessments
Government Property Management is one of the 6 mandatory business systems for contractors, required by the Department of Defense. In theory, contractors should perform periodic self-assessments on these business systems, but they are not mandatory.
However, this might change soon. The Department of Defense (DOD) may be on the verge of imposing on contractors mandatory self-certification requirements for business systems.
